Master Classes with Rachel Lee

Develop your Practice with Rachel Lee E-RYT 200 & YACEP

Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to spend 2 days in a small group focused entirely on your Yoga practice.

There will be a maximum of 8 participants on this workshop so you will get plenty of time to practice, discuss and learn about the areas that you are particularly interested in. It will be a very interactive and fun workshop, exploring the practice with like-minded people.

You will learn and revisit some of the basics of yoga on Day 1 and then expand your knowledge and absorb the learnings on Day 2.

Level 1 - Back to Basics
When you understand the 'basics' of yoga it is like a penny dropping in your mind, you suddenly see the forest for the trees. Yoga is complex, but it can also be simple, when you realise that all of the techniques are designed to bring your awareness into the present moment. This workshop session will focus on the basics, i.e. "step-by-step" of where and how to place your body with specific instructions, by highlighting the principles of body alignment.

Suitable to all levels of practitioner, including absolute beginners.

Level 2 - Expanding your experience
Once you understand basic body alignment, the next step is to incorporate matching the movement to the breath (Vinyasa), Bandhas, Drishti, and Ujjayi Pranayama. If you don't know these terms then you definitely need to attend this workshop session. A bicycle wheel is made up of spokes; missing or loose spokes do not allow the wheel to roll true. A yoga practice is made stronger by incorporating more than just Asana.

Suitable to regular practitioners.

Rachel Lee will be guiding participants through the Knoff Yoga System. This system developed by Nicky Knoff and James Bryan draws on their combined experience of 80 years of yoga through direct study with the Masters of Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Bikram Yoga.
